Shelly O'Neill Stoneman Hosts Gov. Wes Moore at the 2024 MilVet Forum

I was thrilled to host Gov. Wes Moore, the 63rd Governor of Maryland and military veteran, at the 2024 MilVet Forum! Governor Moore's journey from serving in the Army to leading Maryland is powerful and inspiring. His call to embrace challenges resonates deeply with me: "Don’t be afraid of [what is] hard…embrace [things that are] hard, smile through it."
Additionally, as the wife of an Army veteran, it was a real honor to discuss the Governor’s work on the “Maryland Joins Forces” campaign, which provides support to military families across five key pillars: employment, food and housing security, education, health and wellness, and volunteer service. It’s wonderful to have our company’s global headquarters located in Maryland with a Governor so focused on ‘Leaving No One Behind.’
