Shelly O'Neill Stoneman Speaks at the Military Women's Memorial with First Lady Jill Biden

Still in the afterglow from this historic day! Last week marked the 75th anniversary of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, a groundbreaking legislation that allowed women to serve as permanent members of the Armed Forces. It was an honor to represent DACOWITS and speak on behalf of so many heroic women at the Military Women's Memorial, alongside First Lady Jill Biden, Phyllis Wilson, MPA, BSN, RN and the brave veterans who helped to forge this path for all women.
